Sports Medicine Emergency Management will be among a limited number of vendors to optimize interaction between participating vendors and NBA professionals.
PUBLIC CLASS - ASTM
The ASTM (TM) course is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) to offering education for athletic trainers (up to 19 Category – A CEUs) and is approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Sports Physical Therapy Council to satisfy the Acute Management of Injury & Illness (AMII) requirement for the Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) credential.
This program has been planned and implemented in accordance with the requirements and policies of the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainer (BOC) through the joint sponsorship of University of Michigan Health MedSport and Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM). U-M Health MedSport is approved by the BOC and APTA-MI to provide continuing education for Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists and Physical Therapists Assistants.
